3rd Annual Graduate School Meeting
Next Wednesday, March 5th at 7:00pm, Dr. Angner will give his annual presentation on what it takes to get into graduate school, particularly graduate school in philosophy. Topics include an undergraduate preparation timeline, elements of a graduate school application, and what you can expect in grad school. Anyone pursuing philosophy as an undergrad but perhaps another field as a grad student (e.g. law) is likely to benefit from this meeting also. Pizza and drinks will be served (I promise), and a room number will be available soon. If possible, please RSVP to sbnolen@uab.edu if you think you will attend, as we'd like to know how much pizza to buy.

Hello!
I'm a student from India who wants to start an informal, amateur philosophy group. There aren't too many of us, maybe three or four people, and to start off we'd just like to read up stuff and discuss it. I'm sorry this has very little to do with your club, but if you could let me know how we can structure such discussions, that'd be a big help. For instance, could we, as amateurs, break our sessions into some segments that would give a framework to our discussions and help us cover the topic better?
Thank you!
